NATE’S CAPTAINS - Round 15

SuperCoach. What can we say? Week 13 was bleak and Week 14 was a feast. Dawson 184, Gawn 168, Xerri 152, plus Kozi and Sheezel 140+ and in total we had 12 popular players who scored 119+. On a bye round with endless looping possibilities hopefully you landed one of those scores as the captain and a few more to really boost your score.

Ninja VC: First game of the week. In your league head to head match ups your opponent cannot see changes to your team you have made until the Thursday night game starts. Catch them by surprise with a big VC.
Last week: Marcus Bontempelli (101) Average: 111.2

Luke Jackson: Geelong should be a soft match up. Jackon vs Edwards looks great on paper. Geelong could throw SDK, Blicavs & Edwards at Jackson, but he’s still the best option in the first game.

Boom or Bust VC: This will be a high variance VC option. Hoping to hit it out of the park and make it an easy decision for you. Either hell yeah or hell no.
Last week : John Noble (113) Average: 98.3

Lachie Whitfield: Huge upside. Carlton have a tendency to allow half backs to score well. Whitfield has also had his best scores of the year vs Ess, North and Pies. Teams in the bottom 6.

Early VC: Friday/early Saturday VC/C option a lot of people will likely lock in. Bye rounds means your VC can be as late as Saturday night.
Last week: Marcus Bontempelli (101) Average 119.9

I’m going late with Nick here. Use the byes to have a very late VC as Sunday has some really great match ups for captains.

 1) Nick Daicos: 98, 133, 149 vs Port in last 3 games. He’s been extremely consistent this year and we know any week he can go very big.
2) Noah Anderson:  Four his Noah’s last five scores are 126+. Gold Coast may be struggling but Noah isn’t. Has 2 scores 150+ in last 3 vs Hawks.
3) Jordan Dawson: That first quarter was incredible. So good, so damaging. Hard to back up monster scores.

Captain Obvious: Let’s make it an easy decision. Should hit 110 on a bad day but hopefully we get that 130 we are chasing.
Last week: Isaac Heeney (104) Average 114.7

1) Tristian Xerri: What a year for X. On average 4th highest. Coming off 152 and getting a crack at Richmond. BE 141 is in danger.
2) Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera: Looked and scored better in his second game back. 135 and could be one of the best players to finish the year.
3) Marcus Bontempelli: Eventually a big score will drop. We know his class and he is moving better every week.

Hail Mary: Last game of the week. Just incase your team hasn’t performed and you need that last moment magic to win some head to head matches.
Last week: Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (135) Average (118.3)

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera: Going with Nas again, he loves Marvel Stadium. 99, 149, 99, 135 in his 4 games there this year - And Dogs don’t tag.
