NATE’S CAPTAINS - Round 24
Here it is. Round 24. Last week of the season. Hopefully you are in some grand finals and nailing this captain option in a week that can hold many selection problems as teams rest players for numerous reasons.
Last week we had Rankine hit a massive score again, Heeney and Gulden dominate and Gawn once again show why he is #1
Ninja VC
First game of the week. In your league head to head match ups your opponent cannot see changes to your team you have made until the Thursday night game starts. Catch them by surprise with a big VC.
Last week: Luke Jackson (111) Average: 112.5
Bradley Hill: Last week I said he was the last runner left in that Saints team and he delivered with 139. Max Hall is the other option in this game. Both guys under 6% owned so if you have one could get you off to a great start.
Boom or Bust
This will be a high variance option. Hoping to hit it out of the park and make it an easy decision for you. Either hell yeah or hell no.

Absolutely delivered in the role I was expecting.
Kysaiah Pickett: Not sure anyone lives boom or bust more then this guy. Against the dogs he really could deliver 140 or 70.
VICE CAPTAIN
Last week: Will Ashcroft (120) Average 123.6
120 isn’t bad but we definitely had some better options on Sunday.
1) Max Gawn: Has a good history vs dogs. Round 11 wasn’t great but Heath was in. Hopefully back to the 140’s and 160’s he has history of. Especially if still no English.
2) Izak Rankine: Maybe it’s just me but I don’t like putting captain on a forward. Even one playing as much mid as Rankine. If you have a late loop like Sheezel not playing I prefer this as VC rather then C
3) Will Ashcroft: This kid just can’t miss right now.
CAPTAIN OBVIOUS
Last week: Brodie Grundy (114) Average 125.5
Picked the wrong swan.
1) Bailey Smith: Has the ability to beat up on lower ranked teams. Especially at GMHBA, and doesn’t get much lower then Richmond.
2) Tristan Xerri: Looks more settled in his role now, and his scoring has improved as such.
3) Zach Merrett: Playing way more mid again now and should have a chance to let loose vs Port.

Last game of the week. Just in case your team hasn’t performed and you need that last moment magic to win some head to head matches.

Should have gone for Gulden
Nick Watson: Who at the Eagles will stop this guy? Especially after going goalless two weeks in a row, he’ll be itching to make an impact. He could kick a bag and set up a few along the way.
