The Round 22 Wash-Up

Some huge scores this week, and then whatever the hell that was from Izak Rankine above them. Amazing round of football, for a multitude of reasons.

Here’s this rounds Heroes and Villains;

heroes:

Izak Rankine took advantage of the wet conditions and powered to a humongous 223, Matt Rowell in the wet was also a cheat code with him landing on 174. Bailey Smith loved the expanses of GMHBA against Essendon to get to 161. Luke Davies-Uniacke was incredible against the Dogs for 156. Lachie Neale played free against the Hawks for a 155. Luke Jackson won the battle even if his team didn’t win the war surging to 149. Errol Gulden is so back with 134 against the Power. Nick Daicos and Will Ashcroft both finished on 132.

Others: Touk Miller (157), Darcy Cameron (129), Max Hall (125), Chad Warner (123)

Villains:

Colby McKercher was better but still wouldn’t have pleased owners with 87. Sam Walsh, Dan Houston and Clayton Oliver all finished on 83 in their respective games. Jordan Clark finished on 81, and Murphy Reid was tagged only getting to 57 in the same game. Zac Bailey was better this week, but still only managed 79. Jack Steele had his work cut out for him and only landed on 78. Lachie Ash struggled in wet conditions for 74. WTF was that from Christian Petracca only getting to 46.

INJURY & SUSPENSION NEWS:

JASON HORNE-FRANCIS - Left the game late with a knee injury but has been cleared of any damage and remains a chance to play against Melbourne this week.

NASIAH WANGANEEN-MILERA - Only managed a few minutes in the clash against Carlton, and will now miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.
