NATE’S CAPTAINS - Round 2

We are going to look at some of the best captain options for round 2. More leagues are starting to kick off. Here we have a few different strategies to try catch an edge on this weeks league match up.

NINJA VC: First game of the week. For league your opponent can’t see what changes you have made in the last week (hopefully not many after round 1).

Last week: Sam Walsh  (96)

James Sicily: This game doesn’t really scream out for a good VC. Sydney has conceded to defenders this season. But probably avoid this game for a better match up later.

BOOM OR BUST VC: This will be a high variance VC option. Hoping to hit it out of the park and make it an easy decision for you. Either ‘hell yeah!’ or ‘hell no!’

Last week : Darcy Parish (93)

Wayne Milera: Huge round 1 score (142). If he backs it up, we are laughing. But if not we have a second chance to find a good captain score.

EARLY VC: Friday/early Saturday VC/C option a lot of people will likely lock in.

Last week: Marcus Bontempelli (160)

Marcus Bontempelli: 113 & 160 this year. Hasn’t disappointed yet this year. Another big game like last week and his starting price may be value
Christian Petracca: Can this man be stopped? Back to the MCG where the Suns should continue to shine bright. Scores of 170 & 152 already.

CAPTAIN OBVIOUS: Let’s make it an easy decision. Should hit 110 on a bad day but hopefully we get that 130 we are chasing.

Last week: Xerri (128), Butters (94), Daicos (126)

Caleb Serong: Back home vs Melbourne. Scored 150 vs Geelong.
Zak Butters: Was a popular captain last week and got an unexpected tag. But vs Bombers this week who had 3 mids score tons vs them last week. Butters bounce back.

HAIL MARY: It’s the last game as you are chasing the win in league. Lets throw the captains armband on someone in the last game to sneak a win out of nowhere.

Last week: Christian Petracca (152)

Tristian Xerri: X gonna give it to the Eagles this week. Scored 128 last week vs Power and Eagles conceded 137 to Witts. Ticks both boxes.
Harry Sheezel: 134 vs Port. Now playing Eagles after Gold Coast mids had a great time.
