The Round 11 Wash-Up

Sir Doug Nicholls Round was a great success and the jumpers were all so well made and it was a great celebration of a culture of so many traditions.

Round 12 is the start of the byes, and some teams need a well earned rest while some are getting rested just when they’d like the momentum to keep going - Get your questions in!

But first here’s this rounds Heroes and Villains;

heroes:

Some massive scores this week. Darcy Parish (anyone still holding him?!) was BOG in the Dreamtime clash and finished on 155. Wayne Milera was everywhere for the Crows to finish on 143 and teammate Josh Worrell was marking anything and everything to finish on 134. Clayton Oliver is proving to be everything and more for the Giants with142. Luke Davies-Uniacke and Harry Sheezel combined with 141 and 125 in their massive comeback win. Ed Richards showed he’s still all that with a 140. Matt Rowell, welcome back, 131. Max Holmes, also welcome back, 128. Zach Merrett continues doing what he does with 126 and we can’t keep ignoring Josh Treacy who’s a demanding presence for Freo at the moment finishing on 126, same score as teammate and reigning Rising Star Murphy Reid.

Others: Nick Daicos (124), Jayden Short (124), Max Gawn (114), Noah Anderson (126)

Villains:

Jordan Clark is on blast from many after another lacklustre 83. Tom Stewart was kept quiet in the Cats win only achieving a 74, while Josh Daicos was tagged and finished on 73. Will Ashcroft’s 63 will annoy many, as will Harley Reid’s 60. Josh Lindsay and Brayden Cook just missed their BEs with 55 and 67 respectively.

Others: Justin McInerney (52), Karl Amon (64), Caleb Serong (DNP), Luke Parker (73)

INJURY & SUSPENSION NEWS:

(for relevant SC players)

LACHIE WHITFIELD - There will be a big watch on this. Late change after experiencing hamstring awareness and the Giants bye is Round 13. Wouldn’t be surprised if he misses an extra week.

IZAK RANKINE - Went down with a calf injury and will now miss up to a month

CALEB SERONG - Was left out of the Dockers side this week owing to a calf injury, a low grade one not supposed to keep him out for long but likely doesn’t return until after Freo’s bye.

JAMIE ELLIOTT - not SuperCoach relevant directly, but what McRae does to replace him is a massive watch moving forward.

AND FINALLY, HOW DID THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS FARE?

hOW DID YOU GO THIS WEEK?
