The Round 7 Wash-Up
Safe to say our Traffic Lights this week were a complete wash. We were in denial, but no, very little hit and we want to apologise for that.
It was a very weird week for scoring, a select few had monster games and a select few had stinkers while it was mostly between the arcs for the rest.
Let’s start with our Heroes and Villains;
HEROES
Brodie Grundy held the top score for the round with 151, and we welcomed back Tristan Xerri to score 150. Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera found it all a bit too easy and scored 149, while Luke Jackson showed up with a 147, Archie Roberts racked the ball up for a 140, and Jordan Dawson came up with an emotionally charged 138. Marcus Bontempelli back to form with a 135. Josh Lindsay was incredible for the Eagles with a 132. Congratulations to Scott Pendlebury for winding back the clock with a standout 148 on ANZAC Day.
Others: Sam Walsh (121), Zac Bailey (123), Kysaiah Pickett (129), Lachie Neale (132), Jai Newcombe (132), Shai Bolton (142)
VILLAINS
Never want to see Matt Rowell end up on 49 ever again. Max Holmes was overrun to end short on 80. Caleb Serong once again muted in the Freo midfield mix to end on 78. Justin McInerney made a mockery of the Traffic Lights to end on 74, and Finn Callaghan was well held to end up on 66.
Others: Jordan Clark (78), Ed Richards (88), Sam Flanders (83), Colby McKercher (62)
